In this book the researcher begins by conceptualizing what philosophy is, by ascertaining it in the cultural context, he then uses this context to define African philosophy as Ubuntu, or Ubuntu as the African philosophy. To demonstrate his argument the researcher, uses the ovaHerero people of Namibia as an applicable case study, throughout the book, the author constantly reveals the philosophical elements within Ubuntu as a way of life/philosophy.
