ACO algorithm has been used to find the shortest path among the neighboring nodes of the sender. After traversing the routes to the neighboring nodes, the pheromone value is calculated for each traversed node. The node with highest pheromone value is the nearest node. Then using the reputation system, the past actions of that node are considered and they are analyzed. This analysis shows whether the node is regular or malicious based on the belief updation. Thus the data can be forwarded to the destination node in a secured manner and this method is followed until the data reaches the destination.
