Autoren-Porträt
Yuichiro Himeda is a chief senior researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Osaka University (1994). After a postdoctoral stay with Prof. Andrew D. Hamilton at the University of Pittsburgh (1995), he worked on the development of homogeneous catalysis for H2 storage and CO2 reduction at AIST. His research interests include the development of homogeneous catalysts based on new concepts, activation of small molecule, and CO2 utilization for energy storage.
