Dr. Melanie Turgeon is Assistant Professor of Music at The King 's University College in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where she additionally conducts three choirs. She holds a Doctorate in Choral Music from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She has presented research and given workshops both nationally and internationally.
