Klappentext zu „Deletion of the LCP genes in Mycobacterium tuberculosis “
This book will help to determine the features, composition , structure, properties and functions of the genes of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It will also help to know the impact and relevance of the LCP genes, their functions and role in cell envelope biogenesis. The knowledge of the composition and functions of the genes will be used as a standard to compare and analyze the situation when the LCP gene is deleted from the cell envelope. Hydrophobicity assays, biofilm assays and glycan secretion assays will be performed before and after the deletion of the LCP gene from the cell envelope. The characteristics obtained before and after the deletion of the LCP gene from the cell envelope will be compared. The difference in the results obtained from the characteristics of the cell envelope will be recorded as the effect of the deletion of the LCP genes from the Mycobacterium tuberculosis cell envelope.
