Steven Wu, MD is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an attending physician in the Division of Nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital. As the founding Directors, Dr. Wu founded and led Interventional Nephrology as well as Vascular Access Programs for more than a decade in the Divisions of Nephrology and Vascular Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has won "The Athanasoulis Award for Excellence in Teaching" at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was a former councilor at American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN), and the co-chair of the 7th and 8th ASDIN annual scientific meetings. Dr. Wu has edited and authored several books in the field of Interventional Nephrology and vascular access management. Dr. Wu graduated from Wuhan Tongji Medical University in China. He completed his Nephrology fellowship at the Harvard Joint program of Brigham and Women's Hospital / Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a Vascular Interventional Radiology fellowship in the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
