Die Autorin ist neu in diesem Genre unterwegs und hofft, mit ihrer etwas neuen Schreibweise in ihrem Umfeld Fuß fassen zu können. Anfänglich sollte diese Geschichte ein Kinderbuch werden, doch schnell entwickelte sich ein kleiner Roman daraus, der sowohl für Kinder und Jugendliche als auch für Eltern geschrieben wurde. Die Geschichte lässt sich entsprechend leicht vorlesen, was die Fantasie des Kinders fördert, denn viele Dinge werden so liebevoll umschrieben, dass man sie sich vorstellen kann. Liebevoll umschreibt sie den Umgang mit der magischen Fantasie, die unvergessen bleibt und trotzdem Teil des natürlichen Lebens ist.
