Autoren-Porträt
Michael Gehler ist Inhaber des Jean Monnet Chair für Vergleichende europäische Zeitgeschichte und die Geschichte der europäischen Integration, Leiter des Instituts für Geschichte der Stiftung Universität Hildesheim und beschäftigt sich mit deutscher, österreichischer und europäischer Geschichte im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert sowie den internationalen Beziehungen nach 1945. Peter Nitschke, geboren 1961, ist Professor für die Wissenschaft von der Politik an der Universität Vechta. Zahlreiche Publikationen zur Politischen Ideengeschichte und Theorie.
