In many ways, Buddhist humanism is on common ground. The primary commonalities are the rejection of an external deity and the emphasis on social justice and spirits of self-responsibility, self-confidence, self-support, self-control, self-acceptance, self-awareness. equaling in and response to social conflict, environmental degradation and education crisis. Lastly, it will suggest a standard of value based on happiness of individuals and the commonwealth. This is based on wisdom but not on imaginative knowledge, based on human love and humanness but not on hatred and fighting. This is the Buddhist solution for problems in modern society.
