The authors describe an alternative to the classical topology; the Flipped Voltage Follower (FVF), which has been recently applied in the design of internally compensated LDOs to enhance their performances. This book provides novel circuits enhancing those parameters of LDO related with frequency behavior and power consumption. J.M. Hinojo is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Seville, Spain. His main research interests include power management circuits as low-dropout regulators or DC/DC converters and low-power low-voltage analogue microelectronics. C. Luján-Martínez is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Seville, Spain. Her main research interests are in low power low voltage analogue and mixed signal microelectronics.
Antonio Torralba is a Professor and Director at the Department of Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Seville, Spain. He leads a research group on mixed signal design and his research interests include low power low voltage analogue and mixed signal microelectronics.
