Autoren-Porträt von Reinhard Kleist
Geboren wurde Reinhard Kleist 1970 in der Nähe von Köln. Er studierte Grafik und Design in Münster und zog 1996 nach Berlin, wo er seitdem lebt und sich heute mit den Comic-Zeichnern Fil, Mawil, Andreas Michalke und Naomi Fearn ein Atelier teilt. Er veröffentlichte zahlreiche Comics. Neben seinen Comicarbeiten schuf Reinhard Kleist Illustrationen für Bücher von H.C. Artmann und J.G. Ballard und für Plattencover von Terrorgruppe und Bear Family Records. Darüber hinaus verschönerte er diverse Hausfassaden in Berlin und war als Artdirector für Trickfilme tätig.
Reinhard Kleist erhielt für seine Comics bereits mehrere Preise.
