Language acquisition as an active process requires learners to continually acquire vocabulary of the target language. Most language learners have problems when they make attempts to learn new vocabularies in a single lesson. Some of them who have found the activity very difficult will quit the activity at the very beginning, and some try to memorize a vocabulary list. Many learners with learning disabilities experience difficulty in learning a foreign language. These failing language learners can overcome their disability through effective instruction and hard working. Through administration of language aptitude tests teachers and instructors can diagnose the learners' disabilities. Language aptitude indicates the potential a person has for learning languages. A few number of studies investigated the role of aptitude in foreign language vocabulary learning.
