He has more than 10 years' experience in industry as senior manager at Daimler AG, as a senior researcher at Technische Universität München (TUM). Prof. Kersten is vice-chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the AiF German Federation of Industrial Research Associations and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Logistics Association (BVL).
