Dr. Mohammad Oves, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at Center of Excellence in Environmental Studies of King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Oves received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Microbiology) from Aligarh Muslim University, India. He has more than five years research experience on the different environmental related research project like SWINGS (Safeguarding Water Resources in India with Green and Sustainable Technology) International FP-7 funded project of the European Union) and green synthesis of nanoparticles from the plant and bacterial extract funded by ICMR and CSIR funding bodies of the Indian government. He has published more than 65 scientific papers, including original research articles, review articles, and book chapters in various international publishers. He has also gained H-index 18 and i10-indexer 24 with more than 1650 citations on Google scholar. His interest in various aspects and application of Microbiology coupled with Environmental Sciences, Nanoscience, and Biomedical Sciences. He is intensely involved in research activities focusing on Environmental Microbiology, Nanotechnology, Heavy metals bioremediation and Antimicrobial microbial activities of newly synthesized drugs and nanomaterials.
