Autoren-Porträt von Ian Fleming
Ian Fleming ist emeritierter Professor für Organische Chemie an der Universität Cambridge und emeritierter Fellow am Pembroke College. Nach seiner Promotion verbrachte er ein Postdoc-Aufenthalt bei R.B. Woodward an der Harvard Universität. Er ist Autor vieler internationaler Publikationen und hat fünf Lehrbücher verfasst wovon ein das Standardwerk zur Grenzorbitaltheorie ist.Joachim Podlech hat Chemie an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München studiert, gefolgt von einer Doktorarbeit in München in der Gruppe von Prof. Dr. Günter Szeimies. Nach einem Postdoc-Aufenthalt an der ETH-Zürich in der Gruppe von Prof. Dr. Dieter Seebach, hat er sich an der Universität Stuttgart habilitiert. Seit 2003 ist er Professor für Organische Chemie an der Universität Karlsruhe.
