Thomas Enger, geb. 1973 in Oslo, wuchs in Jessheim auf. Er studierte Publizistik, Sport und Geschichte und arbeitete nach dem Studium in einer Onlineredaktion. Nebenbei schrieb er seine ersten Romane und war an verschiedenen Musical-Produktionen beteiligt. Inzwischen lebt er zusammen mit seiner Freundin und zwei Kindern wieder in Oslo.
