This research work is an important endeavour to understand the role of NGOs contributing to ICT supported primary education in rural settings in Bangladesh. In context of globalization and diffusion of technological innovation, ICT supported education has become an important strategy for developing primary education in Bangladesh. On the other hand, NGOs are important phenomenon in Bangladesh where they play a pioneering role towards achieving growth and development. Along with presenting the current contribution, this study analyses the challenges and potentials of NGOs contributing to ICT supported primary education in Bangladesh. The findings of this study may help the government, NGOs, development partners, policy makers and others to improve the role of NGOs to establish ICT supported education. The findings might be helpful as well to other developing countries like Bangladesh to develop their own country education development strategies engaging the NGOs.
