These applications have become especially necessary for small island countries like Cyprus where economical dependence on tourism and education sector as major source of income exists. Enlightened by reality, authors of the book decided to gave birth to a new study that would scrutinize the embodiment of two parent industries namely "educational tourism". Thus, "The Sociocultural Effects of Education Tourism: Case of Famagusta,Cyprus" was born through hard work and resilience of the authors in order to clarify, share and contribute to the gap in the literature.
