Klappentext zu „Stress reactions as disease factors “
The fact that stress-related mental and physical illnesses have become major health problems in recent decades was decisive for the theoretical considerations of the present work. Apart from the known connections between the classical risk factors such as increased blood pressure, overweight, addictive drugs etc. and various diseases, this work goes one step further and tries to show the causes and triggers for these in the social environment, in the lifestyle of the individual and under consideration of existing stress factors. The focus of this study is on the analysis of the most common diseases today. The results allow the conclusion that structural and risk factors increase the probability of certain diseases, while psychosocial stress can increase, localise or trigger symptoms and complaints. This book has been translated with Artificial Intelligence.
