The book explains the use of taping for the army personnel taking training and its related quadriceps pain. The taping technique is very effective in relieving the pain. The study was done on army personnels who were taking military training. They complained of pain in quadriceps for which taping was done. The patients were relieved of pain. Kinesio taping (KT) is an alternative taping technique developed in the 1970s by Dr. Kenzo Kase. According to Kase, KT may improve strength, control, and performance; reduce pain; prevent injury; inhibit and facilitate motor activity; and increase range of motion (ROM). The aim of this study is to assess the effects of KT on quadriceps strain in military recruitment training.
