George R. R. Martin is the No1 New York Times bestselling author of many novels, including the acclaimed series A Song of Ice and Fire- A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows, and A Dance with Dragons -as well as Tuf Voyaging, Fevre Dream, The Armageddon Rag, Dying of the Light, Windhaven (with Lisa Tuttle), and Dreamsongs Volumes I and II . He lives with the lovely Parris in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Ben Avery 's comic book career began when he was selected by Game of Thrones creator George R. R. Martin to script the adaptation of the prequel tale The Hedge Knight . Since then, Avery has gone on to work for a number of different publishers to write and create comics in a multitude of genres, from sci-fi to fantasy to historical fiction.

Mike S. Miller is a veteran comic book artist who has worked on superheroes from Superman to Wolverine. He illustrated the graphic novel adaptations of George R. R. Martin's The Hedge Knight and The Sworn Sword, and served as the regular cover artist for the Game of Thrones comics series.
