English is the most commonly used language throughout the world. It is the major language in various fields. It is very important for cultural and social communication among the different countries. It provides a medium for all cultures to communicate through books, stories, internet and other resources. In education, assessment is intended to be a tool that supports learning and helps measure progress of achieving learning outcomes. Assessment for learning (formative assessment) should be focused more than assessment of learning (summative assessment) for better learning through providing learners with ongoing feedback. With the increased usability of modern tools in education in general and in assessment in particular, there is a big need to integrate one of these tools for better assessment. E-portfolio is considered one of the newest forms of assessment. An E-portfolio is a record of learners' performance and accomplishments during the learning process.
