Land degradation has pose a huge problem and risk in the Ethiopian economy. The effect is exacerbated by the recurrent drought, population growth and climate change impact. Hence the Ethiopian Government has devised and used different approaches for the last four decades to tackle problem associated with land degradation. The current community based watershed management approaches has got better acceptance by the public and producing success stories in different part of the country. This booklet will contribute a lot in the preparation of Community Participatory Watershed Management Development plan.
