Ingo Swoboda, Jg. 1961, schreibt schon während des Studiums der Rechts- und Staatswissenschaften in Mainz und in Dijon, Burgund/Frankreich Artikel für verschiedene Zeitungen. Nach dem Studium wendet er sich ganz dem Journalismus zu, nach dem Volontariat arbeitet er als Redakteur bei einer internationalen Zeitschrift für Mode und Accessoires. Neben dieser Tätigkeit, die ihn auf vielen Reisen um die ganze Welt führt, veröffentlicht er seine ersten Bücher und wird schließlich stellvertretender Chefredakteur einer Weinzeitschrift. Seit dem Jahr 2000 ist Swoboda als freier Journalist unter anderem für die Zeitschrift Der Feinschmecker und WeinGourmet tätig. Swoboda hat mehrere Bücher zum Thema Essen und Trinken verfasst, einige davon wurden auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse mit Preisen ausgezeichnet. Ingo Swoboda lebt in Eltville am Rhein.
