Lucy Brown Writes Upside Down is a book that help students who have learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ADHD, and Dyspraxia idenifity that it is ok to find parts of learning at school challenging. Lucy Brown also helps the students to identify their strengths with the theme of "What are you good at?" running through the book.
The last pages of the book asks the reader to identify what they are good at. The book provides an excellent lead for discussions with students about identifying their own talents whilst learning to accept that it is ok to find some things harder than others.
Tim is passionate about helping students who find learning challenging having failed most of his schooling due to having the Specific Learning Disability Dysgraphia. In his work as a Psychologist Tim spends a great deal of time identifying and supporting students who find learning a challenge helping the students to identify their strengths rather than be focusing on any weakness.
Tim is married to Katie and they have three children, two of which have mild dyslexia and he is a Director of the Educational Charity Allkids, which helps children in Cambodia attend school. He has also released 2 books for teachers and completed 3 seasons of the podcast, Setting Your Child up for Success.
Tim is a passionate educator of children of all ages and he does this by helping students to find their strengths.
