Autoren-Porträt von Alma Austin Davis
Alma Austin Davis is the seventh of fifteen children born to an Arkansas farmer and a homemaker. She received a bachelor's degree in education from Arkansas Agricultural, Mechanical and Normal College (A, M&N) now the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and a masters' degree from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a retired teacher from the Missouri Department of Education.Alma spent thirty-four (34) years developing the minds of youth. She was selected Teacher of the Year in the Ferguson Florissant School District, a member of Who's Who in Missouri Education, and served as a member of the Kindergarten Board of Education in St. Louis, Missouri.
Alma is an active member of Greater Mount Caramel Baptist Church, where she is a member of the choir, a teacher of Sunday School, and the director of the Baptist Training Union.
Alma did not write for fame or fortune, although God in His will may grant both for His glory and purposes. But beyond this, she wrote this book to honor God, her parents, Richard, and Isabellia Austin, and her family.
