He was Warhol's first apprentice and first to give Warhol a show in 1954. A frequent buyer (every two weeks) from Sotheby's plus Giallo's exquisite taste made him the go-to for the best antiques in the city!Mr. Giallo is 92yrs young and is currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. At 92, Giallo is still very active. In April 2022, he was featured in The New York Times, W, and Elle magazines, and debuted his highly anticipated jewelry collabo- ration with Brooklyn jeweler Catbird, which is still ongoing.In December 2022, Mr. Giallo embarked on a new venture, offering a curated selection of his cherished antiques through The Vito Giallo Collec- tion. This unique online shop showcases not only exquisite pieces but also the captivating stories behind them, revealing their origins, craftsman- ship, and the intriguing individuals who have crossed their paths.
