Through all experiences in life, both positive and negative. No matter how dark or how light, there is always room for growth, understanding and change of any person.
There is always a silver lining in every cloud, as long as one is willing to look for it and learn.

Karen Saunders is a mental health professional, who recently decided to leave this field and focus her energy on creative writing and creating art. She is a an intensely passionate fan of conveying her work through words, paint and mixed media.Drawing on emotional experiences in life with others and an appreciation of the animals, plant kingdoms and the universe have moved her to write and illustrate how she sees some of the world.
The light and the dark sides of her poems reveal fun, mystery and excitement. On the other hand, pain, sadness and negative human behaviours. They include a little education and resonance, compelling the reader to think and reflect on their own sentience.
In her spare time, she does voluntary work, plays the Irish bodhran, and aspires to playing the mandolin.
