Julie has been in the process of having the old "mansion" renovated when several unusually disturbing happenings upset the peace. Julie's publisher and dear friend, Richard Beasley, remains in the story, along with friends from the West End Manor, as well as Detective Don Graverton, who always gets the job done. Beverly lives in Pella, Iowa with husband, Don. She is retired and volunteers in community events that keep her busy. She's been actively involved with community theater for almost 40 years performing and directing 50+ productions. She has written several plays and skits, and seen them brought to life on stage. Her love of theater encouraged her to organize a children's drama group at church that ran for eleven years. Beverly says, "It is a joy to see young actors grow up to become confident, outstanding young adults."
