Al-Mabsut is a book on jurisprudence according to the Hanafi school of thought, written by Imam Shams al-Imam al-Sarkhasi (d. 483 AH). Imam al-Sarkhasi dictated it to his students from memory while he was imprisoned in the well (in a well) in Uzjand (Ferghana). The reason for his imprisonment was a word advised by the Khaqan. This book is considered a comprehensive jurisprudential encyclopedia in comparative jurisprudence between the doctrines of the two Imams Abu Hanifa and Al-Shafi'i, in addition to them sometimes the doctrine of Imam Malik, in the controversial issues between them, discussing them and commenting on them, in addition to being one of the most important books of Hanafi jurisprudence approved in fatwas.
