If you are someone who likes their humour dry, satirical and outrageous then look no further than Alphonse Legrande and his friends in the toy box. Not for the feint hearted, the politically correct or the easily shocked, these short stories, written in free verse style and only slightly more punctuated than 'Archie & Mehitabel', are a 'soap opera' in a book. This is the first of three books transcribed since 2000. Transcribed because, without doubt the toys supplied the words and the author just wrote them down.
