In this busy world we live in today, all too often we seem to forget the little things that make other people feel great, and it makes their day. Simple things like holding a door open, asking how someone is doing and actually waiting to hear the answer, or helping someone out in an aisle of a grocery store. This book is about different ways we can do just that- make others feel good. And in return, the feeling we get is indescribable.
I am a mother to 3, and grandmother to 4!! (I started at a young age, so I'm not your typical Granny!)
I love the outdoors, spending time with family, curling up to a movie or good ebook, or having family game night at the kitchen table.
I have two books in print as of this writing. The first is Maters, Taters & Grits. It's a short non-fiction about life in the South, with a hint of comedy and "redneck-ism". The second is Rhymes From Darker Times, and is a book of poetry taken from notebooks out of my past. If you're looking for sweet, sunshine-y poems, then this poetry book is not for you. :)
I currently (as of 2015) have a couple things in progress, but don't know when I am going to be publishing anything yet. My hopes is to possibly have one out later this year, and since I am OBSESSED with sunsets, there may be a picture book in my future!
