King David said: My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me (Ps. 63:8, NASB). These verses help us to understand the need to make God our refuge and our security. We need to stir ourselves up to take hold of God and to cling to Him with our very soul, like King David.

Greg McCabe is the Pastor of Mason Valley Southern Baptist Church, Yerington, Nevada. He has been engaged in some form of ministry for more than twenty years, focusing on areas of evangelism, teaching, preaching, and prayer. He has served in churches in California and Nevada. He graduated with honors from San Jose Christian College (now Bryce Jessup University) with a B.A. in Biblical Theology/Pastoral Ministries. He holds a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Theology from Newburgh Theological Seminary, Newburgh, IN. and graduated with honors in both programs. Dr. McCabe served on the Board of Directors of the Pajaro Mission, Watsonville, Ca, the Administrative Team of the Lahanton Baptist Association, NV., and on the Executive Board of the Nevada Baptist Convention.
