A testament of brokenness, Broken for Assignment was inspired by author Lorna Grace Sippo's challenges that continually occurred in her life. Even though she loves God and is completely committed to him and his kingdom, there were seasons when she felt her life didn't make sense. Nonetheless, she had a promise, on the one hand, and God's purpose, on the other hand, to fulfill. She didn't give up. She kept on walking with God, pressing on relentlessly and tirelessly.
Throughout the journey, Sippo realized God cannot use a vessel that hasn't been processed. Is it possible these events were God's way of processing her so she could yield completely to his purpose for her life? The processing was necessary, and although it was a difficult experience, Sippo understood gold can only be refined and become beautiful when it goes through fire.
