Philip Kent-Hughes is an author who achieved a business degree from Monash University, specialising in international trade. He worked in export, and the training industry, where he was involved in interviewing and hiring staff. He then worked as a Senior Consultant in emergency and crisis management for a diverse range of organizations including, convention centres, education, energy, hospitals, transport, government, and others. In this work, he has written crisis management plans, and developed exercise scenarios that included responding to a cyber-attack, natural disaster, building collapse, active shooter, and even an escaped dangerous animal from a zoo.
