She received the Honor Diploma (1981) in chemistry from the Novosibirsk State University, Russia, the Ph.D. degree (1988) in catalysis from the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk, and the title of Associate Professor/Docent (1995) from the Novosibirsk State University. Constantinos G. Vayenas is Professor of Chemical Engineering, University of Patras, Greece. The author, coauthor, editor, or coeditor of more than 160 journal articles, book chapters, and books, he is a member of the Electrochemical Society, the International Society of Electrochemistry, and the North American Catalysis Society, among other organizations. He received the diploma (1973) in chemical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and the Ph.D. degree (1977) in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester, New York.
