Autoren-Porträt
Dr. Ede Ijjasz-Vasquez is a non-resident senior fellow with the Brookings Institution, and senior advisor to several financial international organizations. He retired from the World Bank in 2021, after 23 years, where he was part of the senior leadership team responsible for the sustainable development, infrastructure, and climate change portfolio. Knowledge management was the glue that delivered innovation to the 90 developing countries his team covered. Ede holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.Philip Karp retired from the World Bank in 2020 after twenty-six years. He lead the Knowledge and Learning Agenda of one of the largest global technical teams. He led teams in the World Bank Institute, the East Asia region, and the Beijing office, where he led the World Bank's engagement with China on South-South cooperation. Phil holds a Master in Public Policy degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Monika Weber-Fahr is an Adjunct Professor at the Hertie School of Governance (Berlin) and advises international organizations, multi-stakeholder partnerships, businesses and governments on innovative approaches to cooperation and result orientation. Until 2020, Monika served as CEO and executive Secretary of the Global Water Partnership (GWP). For over 20 years, she worked with the World Bank Group, including as Director for Knowledge, Learning, and Results for Sustainable Development.
