By putting the Great Sign in the middle of His Revelation and not in chronological order, God reveals a special purpose for His Great sign.

God motivated and inspired Dr. Hofmann to share this because the Tribulation period is fast approaching. He gave Dr. Hofmann the vision of a great technicolor scroll opening up the sky with Hebrew letters and showed him that it was not a dream by dividing it into 3 scrolls-each in a Primary color - and bringing them together again.
