Joseph G. Misiaszek lives in Colorado with his wife, Kanda, and children, Joseph Boyd (JB), Christian, James, and Elise. They also have an older daughter, KaiLee, who is married to Jacob and lives in another state. He taught middle school math, science, and technology for twenty-five years and still teaches math at the community college level. He is the pastor of First Baptist Church of Vona, in Vona, Colorado, served in youth ministry, led as a youth pastor and helped start the men's ministry at Fellowship of the Rockies Pueblo. He is the son of Joseph L. and Rosemary (Kitty) Misiaszek who raised him in the faith, belief in God and started his faith journey by laying a solid foundation of who God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is and making God a priority in his life.
