A young sugar glider, Nick has just learned to fly in a magical Australian rainforest. His wild and crazy family take him to a party where they get lost while being attacked by a large tattooed ogre named Purple Pete.
While searching for his family, Nick finds a magic Santa suit. It makes him want to be a cheerful giver and fly faster than a spaceship. Nick needs all the help he can get because his family may have been taken to the North Pole.
The ogre, Purple Pete is joined by devil dwarfs and yule goats on a mission to rip off Christmas. Nick teams up with the Sugarglider Air Force, flying squirrels, foxes, bulls, Martians, and Santa Claus in an effort to find his family and save Christmas.
They go on a worldwide journey packed with laughs, action, adventure, and some important lessons in life. A surprise ending even surprises Santa.
