Geoinformatics offers innovative technologies and concepts for real estate marketing. Within Geoinformatics, a reality is considered a geographic feature, which can be completely modelled and described by data, and transferred with the means of geoinformatics into surplus value generating geoinformation. Thus this technology can serve as an important basis for the development of a new kind of communications politics which is specifically designed for real estate marketing. By this means a potential investor can be provided with all spatial information he needs for his decision to acquire a realty edited in an optimal way. At the same time this form of real estate marketing offers the provider of immovables a possibility to present himself as a competent and trustworthy partner in the market within his business communications. Within the scope of this project the prototype of such a marketing instrument was developed for the LF on the basis of a large company intern geodata base and implemented on an OGC conform web-mapping-server and different technologies of 3D-Visualization.
