Elder Orphan Care provides help and hope for older adults in need, both in western Romania, where our ministry was birthed, and in Cabarrus and Rowan counties of North Carolina, where we are based.

In Romania, we partner with pastors to provide shelter, medical care, and nutrition for hundreds of people who are elder orphans, while sharing with the love of God and the hope found only in Jesus.

In North Carolina, we serve adults aged sixty and older who wish to remain in their homes but are at risk of losing that ability due to safety concerns, poverty, or lack of support. We provide friendship, occupational therapy-based assessments, and minor home modifications, as well as assistance with groceries and other necessities.

It is our desire to love our (older) neighbors, wherever they may be, with the love of God that has been lavished on us (1 John 3:1).

Kim Jackson was used by God to help birth Elder Orphan Care in 2011. She continues to serve as Executive Director. She wrote the stories in Hello, Hope! Volume 2 in celebration and anticipation of God's faithfulness.
