"HyperReality" offers a large window into the future of technology, defining what it is, how it works, and explores the implications of this for everything from medicine to leisure, the elderlyand work. The book boasts a list of contributors from around the world and from multiple disciplines- many who have worked directly on the development and application of this new technology.

John Tiffin is Professor Emeritus of Communication Studies at Victoria University of Wellington and Chancellor and founder of the Global Virtual University. Nobuyoshi Terashima is the Dean of the Graduate School of Global Information and Telecommunication Studies at Waseda University, Japan.
