JONAS AGELL is Professor of Economics at Uppsala University. He was previously a research fellow at the Institute for International Economic Studies, Stockholm University after completing his doctoral research at Uppsala University. His research interests are public economics and macroeconomics and he has published articles in these areas in many journals including the American Economic Review, Economica, the Economic Journal, the European Economic Review and the Journal of Public Economics. He is the author of Does Debt Management Matter? (with B. Friedman and M. Persson).PETER ENGLUND is Professor of Economics at Uppsala University. He earned a doctoral degree in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and was then a research fellow at the Institute for International Economic Studies, University of Stockholm. His research deals with housing markets, taxation and monetary issues and has been published in the Journal of Public Economics, the European Economic Review, International Economic Review, Economica and other journals.
JAN SÖDERSTEN is Professor of Economics at Uppsala University. He was previously a research associate at the Industrial Institute for Economic and Social Research, Stockholm after completing his doctoral research at Uppsala University. His research is in the field of public economics. He has published in the Scandinavian Journal of Economics, the Journal of Public Economics and FinanzArchiv. He is the co-author of The Taxation of Income from Capital (with M.A. King and D. Fullerton).
