Autoren-Porträt von Claire Delacroix, Laura Scott, Lori Handeland, Deborah Cooke, Michelle Marcos, Deb Marlowe, Renee Bernard, Claudia Dain, Jerrica Knight-Catania, Jane Charles, Susan Gee Heino, Ava Stone, D. M. Marlowe, Caren Crane
Ava Stone is a USA Today bestselling author of Regency historical romance and college age New Adult romance. Whether in the 19th Century or the 21st, her books explore deep themes but with a light touch. A single mother, Ava lives outside Raleigh NC, but she travels extensively, always looking for inspiration for new stories and characters in the various locales she visits.
What in the world is a retired Navy chaplain’s daughter doing writing scorching hot historical romances, contemporary romantic comedies and paranormal graphic novels? Renee Bernard is applying a great education from traveling all over the world to story telling and doing her best to keep her father proud. Truthfully, her father is her number one fan, even though he has sworn never to read a single word of her books (a vow he has kept to this day!) Nothing stops him from telling everyone he knows that his daughter is now a USA Today Bestselling author or from handing out bookmarks on the golf course. Love can make even a minister do strange things!
Renee Bernard is a freelance writer and host of “The Romance Bookmark” on Readers Entertainment, as well as a contributor to Romantic Times BookReviews magazine. Renee currently lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California. (Note an interesting proximity to great wineries!)

USA Today Bestselling Author Jane Charles lives in the Midwest with her former marine, police officer husband. As a child she would more likely be found outside with a baseball than a book in her hand, until one day, out of boredom on a long road trip, she borrowed her sister’s romance novel and fell in love. Her life is filled with three amazing children, two dogs, two cats, community theatre, and traveling whenever possible. Jane may have begun her career writing romances set in the Regency era, but blames being a Gemini as to why she’s equally pulled

toward writing contemporary novels.
Having successfully booted the last of my three children out the door to college (children who, hopefully, will never move home again for longer than summer break), I decided watching dust gather was probably not a viable past time. Now, in addition to working a dreaded day job as a product analyst, I ignore the state of my house and work diligently to write and publish heartwarming novels with a healthy dose of humor, a splash of romance and a heaping helping of family.
I share my (very dusty) North Carolina home with my darling husband (the most tolerant man in the universe) and the environs around my house with my incredibly feisty young cat, Kimba the O.G. White Lion. Kimba is charming and still more feral than we would like. His favorite things are fingers. He wants to gnaw them. He has many more toys than are recommended and, although he'd tell you otherwise, he gets a ton of attention (whether we want to give it to him or not).
Susan Gee Heino is an award winning, multi-published author of Regency Historical romance. She lives in rural Ohio and welcomes readers to contact her via her website, www.SusanGH.com.
Lori Handeland is a Waldenbooks, Bookscan, USA Today and New York Times best-selling author, as well as a two time recipient of the Romance Writers of America’s RITA award. She also writes gritty, sexy, adventurous western historical romance under the name Lori Austin.
Lori lives in Southern Wisconsin with her husband, enjoying occasional visits from her grown sons.

Jerrica Knight-Catania knew from an early age that she was destined for romance. She would spend hours as a young girl sitting in a chair by an open window, listening to the rain, and dreaming of the day Prince Charming would burst in and declare his undying love for her. But it wasn't until she was 28-years-old, tired of her life in the theater, that she turned her focus toward writing Regency Romance novels. All her dreaming paid off, and she now gets to relive those romantic scenes she'd dreamt up as a child as she commits them to paper. She lives in sunny Palm Beach with her real life Prince Charming, their Princess-in-training and their aristocat, Dr. Snuggle.
Michelle Marcos has finally reconciled herself with being thought eccentric. She lives with an unlucky number of cats and struggles with a debilitating Starbucks addiction. How a child of Cuban parents living in Miami could become such an Anglophile is still anybody's guess. She graduated several centuries ago from the University of Miami with degrees in English and Education. Afterward, she spent several years being one of the "cool" teachers in a middle school, served as director of communications for Habitat for Humanity, and had a brief but illustrious acting career playing roles like Lusty Housekeeper, Death, and (perhaps prophetically) Author. Michelle has written five historical romance novels for St. Martin’s Press, and has won the "Best Historical Romance" award from both the New England and the Yellow Rose Romance Writers of America chapters.
Deb Marlowe loves History, England and Men in Boots. Clearly she was meant to write Regency Historical Romance.
A Golden Heart winner and Rita nominee, Deb grew up in Pennsylvania with her nose in a book. Luckily, she’d read enough romances to recognize the true modern hero she met at a college Halloween party—even though he wore a tuxedo t-shirt instead of breeches and tall boots. They married, settled in North Carolina and produced two handsome, intelligent and genuinely amusing boys. Though she spends much of her time with her nose in her laptop, for the sake of her family she does occasionally abandon her inner world for the domestic adventure of laundry, dinner and carpool. Despite her sacrifice, not one of the men in her family is yet willing to don breeches or tall boots. She’s working on it. Deb loves to hear from readers! You can contact her at deb@debmarlowe.com
D. M. Marlowe lives in North Carolina with her family and two cats. When she is not spoiling them all, she is probably writing. Failing that, she's likely lost in a book or movie, on a long walk, gardening or hanging with her friends.
Laura Scott always enjoyed reading Christian Romance and is thrilled now to have her own books available to readers. She has over ten books published with Love Inspired Suspense and has branched out on her own as well. She lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her husband of 28 years.
