As a child, Chizu Takuma learned the art of macramé from her mother. Chizu rediscovered her love for macramé in her mid 20s and has been working as a fiber artist ever since. She is a lecturer at the Japan Macramé Promotion Association and regularly holds macramé workshops in Japan. Chizu enjoys making macramé projects alongside her mother, sister, daughter, and son.
