Linda Blanford was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. Her family called her "a girl with a big imagination"; she was constantly acting, creating, and performing in any way she could! She began writing at the age of twelve. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Linda has written ME: Based on a True Story, and co-written Over the Hills and Through the Valleys: Best Friends in Marriage. She also taught remedial writing at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Linda now resides in Iowa with her husband and is the happy mother of two grown daughters.
