Mengeling is something of a mixture less a collection, it is more a disparate group of individual poems all drawn together into one bubbling pot. From the ridiculous Bilgeby Sprite to the deeply introspective Waking Up, these poems offer a slightly more personal glimpse into the writer's psyche.
Burnt Cakes & Opening Up, like many others titles in Mengeling, display a kind of disarming honesty, allowing the reader to get a little closer to the author.
Worlds Apart on the other hand is just plain crazy...

Author, artist, Reiki healer and horse trainer, Stephen Brown is a lover of Creativity in all its guises. His writing is varied, from fantasy, sci-fi and other novels, to poetry and haiku. He likes to be both deep and thought-provoking as well as humorous and nonsensical at the same time - in no way does he see the two things as contradictory. He writes for the sheer pleasure of it, but admits that if he can make a buck or two... well, that's fine too!
