He published his first story. The Rainbow Tree which was followed by a second story, Reuben and the Rainbow Tree. This story, Miguel and Fido is the third story based on the Village of the Rainbow Tree.

Leon Shargel, Ph.D. is a retired professor of pharmacy and former vice president for a major pharmaceutical company. Previously, he published textbooks and scientific papers.
