A former editor of the JamesJoyce Quarterly, his manyprevious publications include Without Copyrights: Piracy, Publishing, and the PublicDomain and James Joyce and the Language of History. His work on Modernism andthe Law was supported by a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship.
